Dinesh Chandimal, Dambulla Sixers Captain: I think it was difficult to bat on, but still we managed to get 175. I think it was a really good total, a competitive total. But our fielding has been below par throughout the tournament. It's cost us in every game. We've been dropping catches, and that's made a big difference. Throughout the tournament we haven't had much luck. We'll have to wait for the Kandy-Jaffna game. If Kandy lose, we'll still have a chance, but you never know. These things happen in cricket, especially in a tournament like this. You don't get much of a break. If you're not in good form, you don't have enough time to work on things, correct them and come back stronger in the next game. Personally, I haven't been up to the mark either, but these things happen. We'll see what happens in the last game

Rubin Hermann, Player of the Match: Yeah, 100%. These are honestly new conditions for me coming from South Africa. It's a lot different, so I've really enjoyed the challenge of adapting, seeing how my options change and how I develop as a cricketer. It's been really good for me and my game, and I've enjoyed the challenge. Maybe it's just the areas I'm trying to score in. Earlier I was probably looking to score more square of the wicket, but now I'm trying a few straighter options and being a bit more selective. I'm also trying to give myself a bit more time at the crease, be a bit more patient and then capitalise once I'm set

Kamindu Mendis, Colombo Kaps Captain: The boys have done really well throughout the tournament. The way we bounced back after the last loss is a really good sign for us as a team. As captain, I'm really happy. Compared to the first few games, we've improved a lot. The boys have learned from their mistakes and we've come through those difficult moments. Going into the next stage, we just need to be more consistent as a team. Other than that, I'm happy with the performance

What stood out was the approach of the entire batting line-up. They were like a bullet train without brakes, unleashing a brutal onslaught and, despite losing wickets, kept finding the boundary consistently. Be it Hermann, Samarawickrama, McDermott, Mendis or Rathnayaka, everyone kept going hard and ensured the asking rate never got out of reach. There was a hiccup for sure but it didn't dent them psychologically, and we witnessed a plethora of eye-catching strokes. They have plenty of depth in their batting line-up but what stood out most was their mindset and approach towards the chase. Chameera, Dinusha and Raza did well but there just weren't enough incisive moments with the ball and needed more breakthroughs to make headways. In the final analysis, they were probably 20-30 runs short. It was a high-intensity affair throughout, though, with hardly a dull moment. Colombo move to third and have qualified and there is just one place left to be occupied for the playoffs line-up
