And on that note it's a wrap from us. The win takes Dambulla up to second, behind the Galle Gallants who are the only side with a positive net run rate. We have another double-header tomorrow, so be sure to join us for that. But until then, on behalf of the rest of the team, this is Madushka signing out!

Dushmantha Chameera:

"Captained during schooltime, and first time captaining here. Compared with the SSC I think it's more of a batting wicket here. We have to execute well over here, can't bowl outside off too much. All our bowlers did their part well. And credit to our batters for finishing in the 16th over and boosting our net run rate. [Chandimal] will hopefully be okay for the next match."

Player of the Match is Reeza Hendricks:

"Nice to go out and contribute to the team and this time getting over the line and winning. It's my second season now in the LPL, wickets are generally good and tonight was the same."

Dasun Shanaka:

"Started really well, but disappointed with how we finsihed the game. Had good finishers but it didn't work for us today. We discussed about playing positive cricket, so good thing is we have another game tomorrow. So maybe tomorrow we'll do the job."

Time for the post-match presentation...

10.41pm Gulbadin Naib then with the winning runs, but this was a chase steered masterfully by Reeza Hendricks who remains unbeaten on a 37-ball 64. He came in at the fall of the first wicket, and ensured he'd be there right till the end, perfectly pacing the chase. Key was his stand of 69 off 47 with Marques Ackerman, but a word too for Pavan Rathnayake, who's 29 off 11 allowed Hendricks and Ackerman to play with minimal risk. Gulbadin's 20-run cameo at the death saw Dambulla romp home. But the key work had been done earlier with the ball, when the Sixers had reeled the Gallants back in at the death, picking up 28 for 4 in the final four overs. Farooqi was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 39, coming in clutch at the death, but Ackerman too played his part getting rid of Charith Asalanka - to break dangerous stand - and Sahan Arachchige through the middle. All in all a superb all round performance.

Karunaratne to Ackerman, OUT, Chamika delivered with the bat and now he's struck with the ball! Is there life in this game yet? This was a back of a length cutter, angling away from off. Ackerman goes for the big pull and manages to get under it but he just can't find the distance. Still a lot of work to do though in the deep, as Arachchige sprints left from square leg and holds on well
