11:26pm That will be all from us for tonight. We will be back with more cricketing action soon. Until then, from all of us here at Cricinfo, it is goodbye!

Wanindu Hasaranga, Player of the Match: (On the score) We could have scored 10-15 runs more, but 194 is a defendable score. (Bowling on these pitches) When they bowled, we knew wicket is better than SSC. Wanted to bowl good areas and turn the ball.

Angelo Mathews, Kandy Royals captain: (On coming back after the last game) We had a pretty hard conversation. Sometimes, you need a reality check and need to be upfront. The boys responded. It was a collective effort (with the bat). It was a slower track. Udara, Hasaranga, everyone batted well. It was a fantastic effort. They were cruising in the first ten overs and then the two leg-spinners pulled us back, and put pressure on the opposition. Towards the end, it was a fantastic close by the three pacers. I was worried. They were going at ten per over (in the first 10), so we had to take wickets, contain and do both. Thushara, what a performance. He has been very consistent (for us and SL). Shaheen was fantastic. A bit of a blunder by all of us in the last game. Asitha was also fantastic.

11:11pm A convincing win in the end. The Royals put up a big total on the board, and their bowlers kept taking wickets to ensure the Sixers did not generate an adequate head of steam. Thushara was brilliant, snaring four, but it was the spin-squeeze through the middle overs that stopped Dambulla in their tracks.

Speaking of Dambulla, they will rue the fact that none of their batters got going for long enough, and that is something they will look to rectify when they play next. Especially now that they have lost two on the bounce.

Thushara to Mohammad Wasim, OUT, timber again! Another excellent yorker and this seems of the slower variant again. Zoning into off stump and Wasim flays at it without really picking it. Swats away a few flies and then hears the rattling of his off stump. Thushara has four, and the Royals are almost there now!

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Hendricks, OUT, nicked and gone! And that might be the game too! Pushed across the batter on a length outside off. Hendricks has an ungainly swipe at it and only feathers it through to the keeper. Shaheen celebrates, and that might just be that for this Dambulla run-chase!

Thushara to Gulbadin Naib, OUT, Naib the latest batter dismissed! Easy as you like from Thushara. Speared in full on middle and off. Naib indulges in a cross-batted attempt to dig out this yorker and comes up second-best, quite comfortably. Off stump rattled, and Thushara on a hat-trick now!
