12.04pm Hello again. A good morning for England, but evidence in that last-wicket stand that batting may not be as tough as it was on day one. That said, Ollie Robinson and Jofra Archer with the new ball will be a hell of a handful, not to mention Gus Atkinson - England's Lord of Lord's - and Josh Tongue.

11.56am: That's about 55 minutes more than Pakistan would have been hoping for in the field, as England's last-wicket pair made merry through much of the first hour. But conditions do look to have eased a tad. Pakistan will be starting up their innings shortly, and they've got to find a replacement opener for Imam-ul-Haq, who has not been seen after suffering a calf strain on day one.
