6.22pm So, it's been a good day for Pakistan, all things considered. Babar Azam won a good toss, and though they were familiarly inconsistent, they did enough when it really mattered. Mohammad Abbas was a proper handful with the new ball, ripping out three prime wickets including Joe Root, and though Cox and Smith hit back with solid half-centuries, they were ripped out by two moments of excellence - Salman Agha's flying take at second slip, and Mohammad Ali's ball-on-a-string nip-backer.
