Sources: Air Force is pushing out athletic director Nathan Pine, at the urging of outgoing superintendent Lt. Gen. Tony D. Bauernfeind. His surprising dismissal will include Pine being paid out the remaining years on his contract.
Pine’s tenure at Air Force has been considered successful, as Air Force has consistently been the top academy in athletic performance during his tenure and the top Mountain West in the Director’s Cup four times. He’s been at Air Force since 2019.
