Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the league plans to inform teams with direction on the flux between college and NFL. Per Schefter, a player that goes back to college from the NFL this year will be prohibited from signing again with an NFL team this year. A player signed to an NFL contract who is subsequently cut is a free agent. He may sign with another NFL club, the CFL or return to college. A player than returns is considered a free agent and will not be subject to a future draft.
