The College Football Playoff race took one of its biggest turns of the season in Week 6. Three undefeated team lost. That includes No. 1 Texas which lost at the buzzer to rival Oklahoma, and No. 6 Alabama, which fell to No. 2 Georgia, at the top of the rankings.
Indiana was pushed for much of its game against Nebraska before a fourth-quarter rally kept the Hoosiers' 22-game winning streak alive. That will get another challenge in Week 7 with a visit from No. 5 Ohio State which romped past Maryland.
One of the Big Ten's other preseason contenders -- Oregon -- now finds its CFP hopes on life support. The Ducks lost to Oklahoma State earlier in the season then fell to undefeated UCLA on Saturday and had seven turnovers in the loss.
No. 3 Notre Dame demolished Stanford while No. 4 Miami was on a bye.
