Alabama WR Ryan Coleman-Williams, out vs. Vols, undergoes knee surgery

Alabama star wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a meniscus injury, ESPN's Katie George reported Saturday.

Coleman-Williams, who had already been ruled out of Saturday's game at Tennessee, had been playing through the injury prior to last week's Georgia game. He was knocked out of that game after taking a hit to the head.

While the timeline for his return is unclear, sources told ESPN that Coleman-Williams is considered week-to-week. Alabama hosts Texas A&M next week and has the following week off before playing at LSU on Nov. 7.

The former freshman All-American leads Alabama in catches (23) and receiving yards (415).
