South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart, who was suspended for one game following multiple incidents during last month's game against Alabama, will play Saturday against Florida, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel on Friday.
Stewart returned to practice Tuesday as the Gamecocks began preparations to face the Gators in The Swamp.
Stewart, a former all-conference pick who is considered one of the most talented edge rushers in the country, punched an Alabama player and was seen arguing with coaches during the 49-18 loss in Tuscaloosa on Sept. 26.
The SEC and South Carolina jointly announced a one-game suspension of Stewart following the incident.
He was not present for last Saturday's 35-34 loss to Kentucky.
Last month, ESPN NFL draft expert Jordan Reid projected Stewart as a top-5 pick in the 2027 draft.
ESPN's Alex Scarborough contributed to this report.
