KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Texas defensive end Colin Simmons was given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for "simulating using the restroom," a referee announced, after sacking Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon for a 16-yard loss in the first half Saturday.
Simmons celebrated by miming urinating on the field.

Instead of forcing a punt, the penalty extended Tennessee's drive at home in Neyland Stadium. The Vols, who trailed 10-3 at the time, got past midfield but did not get points after an incomplete pass on fourth down.
Tennessee tied the score on a 56-yard punt return early in the third quarter.
Simmons is widely regarded as one of the top defenders in the SEC and a possible first-round draft pick. ESPN draft expert Jason Reid has him fifth overall among draft-eligible prospects.
He had back-to-back sacks on a drive in the third quarter. He did not celebrate after either play.
