Burress, Blackmon lead Campbell past Chowan 47-14

MURFREESBORO, N.C. -- Elijah Burress threw four touchdown passes to Aaron Blockmon and Campbell rolled to a 47-14 win over Chowan on Saturday.
Burress completed 17 of 22 passes for 255 yards and his only pass in the second half was a 68-yard touchdown to Blockmon. Blockmon finished with six receptions for 172 yards, his second straight game this season with at least 100 yards.
Jared Joyner had 94 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Camels (2-0).
Randall Dixon and Jordan Watkins had touchdown passes for Chowan (1-1) but they also combined for three interceptions and were sacked four times.
Campbell's balanced offense rolled up 538 yards while the Division II Hawks had 222, just one on the ground.
