Schor ties school record, James Madison beats Rhode Island
HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Bryan Schor threw for a career-high 309 yards and tied a school record with five touchdowns as James Madison scored a record number of points, dominating Rhode Island 84-7 on Saturday.
Schor, who missed just one throw all afternoon, set a school completion record of 95%, hitting 21 of 22 passes. He surpassed Vad Lee's 92% against Elon in 2014.
The Dukes (7-1, 5-0), the only undefeated team in Colonial Athletic Association play, broke a record that they established with an 80-7 win over Morehead State to open the season.
James Madison had 628 total yards, while limiting Rhode Island (1-8, 0-6) to 109. The Dukes also forced six turnovers, limiting Rhode Island to five first downs while amassing 31.
Rashard Davis grabbed five passes for 111 yards and Brandon Ravenel also had five for 97 yards. Daniel Schiele hauled in three for three touchdowns.
