North Dakota runs for 5 TDs, beats Sacramento State 40-7
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Keaton Studsrud threw for 203 yards and ran for two touchdowns, Brady Oliveira ran for two more scores and North Dakota rolled to a 40-7 victory over Sacramento State on Saturday night.
Studsrud was 15 of 23 and had seven carries for 100 yards. Oliveira had 18 carries for 111 yards. Austin Gordon added 102 yards rushing, and John Santiago ran for 76 yards and a touchdown for North Dakota (4-2, 3-0 Big Sky Conference).
Studsrud had scoring runs of 6 and 40 yards. Santiago ran for a 26-yard touchdown, and Oliveira added a 17-yard TD run and bullied into the end zone from the 1-yard line to give the Fighting Hawks a 34-0 lead midway through the third quarter.
North Dakota rushed for 422 yards, and had 625 yards of total offense.
Jordan Robinson ran for a 14-yard touchdown in the third quarter for Sacramento State (1-5, 1-2).
