Harvard Crimson @ Rhode Island Rams
Harvard continues win streak, beats Rhode Island 41-10
KINGSTON, R.I. -- Scott Hosch passed for 336 yards and three touchdowns as Harvard won its 15th-straight game, 41-10 over Rhode Island on Saturday.
The Crimson (1-0) opened their season right where 2014 left off, when they were the only unbeaten team in Division I (10-0).
Hosch found Ryan Halvorson on a 45-yard scoring pass to stake Harvard to a 7-0 lead on its first drive. He hit Seitu Smith from 21 yards for a 14-0 lead.
Paul Mroz brought Rhode Island (0-3) back with a 62-yard strike to Khayri Denny -- the Rams' second TD of the season. Isaiah Hill intercepted Hosch, leading to a Justin Rohrwasser 33-yard field goal and Rhode Island closed to 14-10.
But Harvard scored again with 44 seconds left in the half and shut Rhode Island out after halftime. The Crimson outgained the Rams 476 yards to 310.
