Sacred Heart beats Bryant 14-7
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- RJ Noel threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns, including a 24-yard strike to Tyler Dube with 2:30 left in the fourth quarter, to lead Sacred Heart to a 14-7 win against Bryant on Saturday.
Dube caught seven passes for 109 yards for Sacred Heart (9-1, 4-1 Northeast Conference). Sean Bell rushed 16 times for 71 yards, and Noel added 48 yards on the ground for the Pioneers.
Dalton Easton led Bryant with 192 yards passing, but finished just 15 of 34 and was plagued by two costly interceptions. Chad Ward added six catches for 66 yards for the Bulldogs.
The lone Bryant (8-2, 4-1) touchdown came from Ricardo McCray, who plunged in from 5 yards out midway through the second quarter
Pat Casey stared the scoring for Sacred Heart with a 14-yard reception from Noel.
