Harvard shuts down Georgetown 34-3
WASHINGTON -- Andrew Casten rushed 19 times for 139 yards and had four touchdowns to lead Harvard past Georgetown 34-3 on Saturday.
Scott Hosch completed 20 of 25 passes for 293 yards and a touchdown for the Crimson (3-0, 1-0 Ivy League), who racked up 558 yards of total offense while holding the Hoyas (2-4, 0-1 Patriot) to just 227.
Three of Casten's four touchdown runs came in the first half, helping the Crimson to build a 20-3 lead at the break. The only Georgetown score came midway through the first quarter on a 36-yard field goal by Henry Darmstadter.
Kyle Nolan threw for 153 yards and Jo'el Kimpela added 55 yards on the ground to lead the Hoyas, who have scored just 20 total points in their four defeats this season.
