Brown rolls over Cornell 42-16
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Marcus Fuller passed for 306 yards and four touchdowns to lead Brown over Cornell 42-16 on Saturday.
Brown (3-3, 1-2 Ivy) took charge on its first possession as Fuller hooked up on a pair of 35-yard completions to Alexander Jette and Brian Strachan to set up Andrew Coke's 2-yard touchdown plunge.
In the second quarter, Fuller found both receivers for scores -- Jette from 23 yards out and Strachan from 13.
Fuller threw scoring passes to Troy Doles (29 yards) and Reiley Higgins (11 yards) in the second half as the rout continued. Doles had seven catches for 77 yards and Higgins returned a kickoff 44 yards for a touchdown in the fourth.
Cornell (0-6, 0-3) forced Fuller into a safety following a Chris Fraser punt that was downed at the 1. They added a pair of scoring passes from Robert Somborn to Chris Lenz late in the game.
