Tennessee Tech powers past SE Missouri, 41-16
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Darian Stone rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns to drive Tennessee Tech past Southeast Missouri in a 41-16 win on Saturday.
Stone got help from Stephen Bush, who rushed for 76 yards and punched in touchdowns from 2 and 3 yards out. Chris Harris kicked 26- and 32-yard field goals. The Golden Eagles (4-7, 1-6 Ohio Valley Conference) racked up 392 yards of offense while holding Southeast Missouri to just 89 yards passing and 281 yards overall.
DeMichael Jackson rushed for 104 yards for Southeast Missouri (2-8, 1-5) but the scoring came from Spencer Davis, who ran in one of his two carries for a touchdown from the 15, and a 17-yard TD pass from Kyle Snyder to Paul McRoberts. The only first-half score for the Redhawks came from a 27-yard field goal by Alexander Knight.
The win snapped a five-game Tennessee Tech losing streak.
