Davidson Wildcats @ Jacksonville Dolphins
Jacksonville dominates Davidson 56-13
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Kade Bell threw for a career-high 323 yards and four touchdowns as Jacksonville celebrated its homecoming in style with a 56-13 win over Davidson Saturday.
Davidson (0-8, 0-5 Pioneer) jumped out to an early 6-0 lead when J.P. Douglas found William Morris for a 32-yard touchdown. It was all Jacksonville after that.
The Dolphins (4-4, 3-2) would rattle off 56 unanswered points as their defense forced four turnovers in the second quarter. Ulysses Bryant and Frantz Caudio both ran for short scores and Bell found Andrew Robustelli for a 7-yard touchdown. Luidji Michel fell on a fumble in the end zone and the rout was on.
Bell missed three games earlier in the season due to an appendectomy, but the sophomore has now thrown four touchdowns in back-to-back games.
Jacksonville finished with 558 total yards, eclipsing 50 points for the fourth time this season.
