BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. -- Kenny Little ran for a career-high 172 yards and two touchdowns to lead Gardner-Webb to a 21-15 win over Presbyterian on Saturday.
The Runnin' Bulldogs (3-8, 2-4 Big South) never trailed against Presbyterian (2-9, 0-6) in the season finale for both teams.
Little, who finished with 29 carries, scored on a 65-yard touchdown to give Gardner-Webb a 21-2 lead early in the fourth quarter. Little also had a 7-yard rushing score in the second quarter.
Presbyterian cut the lead to 21-15 in the fourth quarter when Kaleb Griffin threw a 23-yard passing score to Tobi Antigha and a 49-yard touchdown pass to Michael Ruff. But the Blue Hose were unable to pull closer.
Luca Beatty threw for 239 yards, one touchdown and an interception for the Runnin' Bulldogs.
Kaleb Griffin threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns. Ruff had 109 yards receiving on nine catches.
