Bucknell Bison @ Delaware Blue Hens
Delaware 19, Bucknell 3
NEWARK, Del. -- Sean Baner kicked four field goals and Trent Hurley scored the game's lone touchdown as Delaware beat Bucknell 19-3 on Saturday.
After Baner's first field goal, Bucknell (1-1) tied the game at 3-3 behind a 21-yard field goal from Sean Cobelli. But the Blue Hens went on to score 16 unanswered points over the final three quarters.
Baner connected from 41, 32, 21, and 20 yards, and his extra point kick following Hurley's touchdown gave Delaware a 16-3 third quarter lead. The first team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection is a perfect 40 for 40 all-time in extra point attempts and has converted 12 straight field goals dating back to last season.
Hurley finished with 56 yards on the ground. Andrew Pierce paced the Blue Hens rushing attack with 101 yards on 22 carries.
Delaware has won six-straight games and registered a 3-0 start for only the second time since 2007.
