SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Robert Ortiz caught an 18-yard pass from Kevin

O'Connell for a go-ahead touchdown and the San Diego State defense

intercepted two Wyoming passes as the Aztecs rolled up 20

fourth-quarter points and came from behind to defeat Wyoming 34-21

Saturday night.

San Diego State (5-6, 4-4 Mountain West) won its second straight

game and temporarily eased the pressure on coach Tom Craft, who has

been on the hot seat lately as his Aztecs played below

expectations. The Aztecs end the season Dec. 3 with a nonconference

game against Hawaii.

Wyoming (4-7, 2-6) finished the season with a six-game losing

streak.

Wyoming quarterback Corey Bramlet, who completed 37 of 54 passes

for 346 yards, scored on a 6-yard run with 14:55 remaining in the

fourth quarter to give Wyoming a 21-14 lead, but San Diego State

took control after that.

After Ortiz's touchdown put the Aztecs ahead for good Marcus

Demps padded the lead with a 20-yard interception return on the

Cowboys' next possession.

A 27-yard field goal from Garrett Palmer with 2 minutes, 47

seconds left concluded the scoring and ended Wyoming's comeback

hopes.

Lynell Hamilton had 154 rushing yards and a touchdown on 27

carries and Jeff Webb had seven receptions for 115 yards to pace

the San Diego State offense.

Cowboys receiver Jovon Bouknight had 14 catches for 143 yards,

giving him 3,626 career receiving yards, a Mountain West record.

The previous mark of 3,572 was held by San Diego State's J. R.

Tolver.

Wyoming had a 14-7 halftime lead courtesy of two second-quarter

touchdowns from redshirt freshman running back Wynel Seldon.

The first came from four yards out with 13:21 remaining in the

second quarter, completing a four-play, 47-yard drive that tied the

score at 7-7. The second came on a 1-yard run with 1:14 left in the

first half that concluded a three-play, 26-yard drive that was set

up with a fumble by O'Connell.

Wyoming safety John Wendling forced the fumble, which was

recovered by Dorsey Golston. O'Connell was shaken up on that play

and sat out the rest of the first half.

The Aztecs went 80 yards in six plays and scored on a 1-yard run

by Hamilton in the third quarter to tie the game 14-14.
