Spin: If Green is written into the Browns' offensive game plan for Week 1, it would likely suggest he is second in line at quarterback behind veteran Deshaun Watson. If 2025 fifth-rounder Shedeur Sanders ends up with that role instead, Green's path to playing time gets harder to envision. If and when Green does get on the field, his size and speed (6-foot-6, 230 pounds, 4.36 40-yard dash) would certainly compel a defense to pay close attention.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Green was selected by the Browns in the sixth round of April's draft. Green is a huge, aggressive dual-threat quarterback. He's a major threat with his legs (112-999-8 rushing last season) but a work in progress as a passer, as he completed only 61% of his passes and threw 11 INTs on only 326 attempts in 2025. Green's size and athleticism (which included a 4.36 40-yard dash at the combine) supplies him with massive upside, but he'll need to improve as a passer in order to find a starting opportunity. He'll continue to compete for playing time with Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel.
