Athlete storytelling remained a key driver of 
engagement as we integrated youth sports vignettes 
featuring Coco Gauff, Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton 
and Jordan Spieth into coverage surrounding the 
U.S. Open and PGA Jr. Championships. These 
moments highlighted the connection between 
early youth sports experiences and elite professional 
competition, reinforcing the long term impact  
of accessible, positive pathways in sport while 
inspiring the next generation of young athletes.
U.S. OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS
& PGA Jr. CHAMPIONSHIP
In partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance 
and the Houston Texans, a coaching clinic was  
held by the Texans at their facility, where more than 
80 coaches from the Ford Bend Youth Football League 
participated in a Coach Workshop and received  
training ahead of the upcoming football season.

During the Little League Softball World Series  
and the Little League World Series (LLWS), ESPN 
partnered with Little League to feature content 
on 63x60 and Take Back Sports, including a 
segment with ambassador Francisco Lindor of 
the NY Mets. We also distributed parent swag 
bags to promote the initiative to parents.

ESPN is proud to team up with a growing list of professional athletes from across sports that care about 
the future of youth sports and want to help the system become more accessible and fun. All of the 
ambassadors participated in a series of vignettes, which ran across ESPN platforms, that addressed critical 
youth sports issues and the importance of community rec leagues, quality coaching, multisport play and
the value of having fun.
