There hasn't been much that has gone right for the Brooklyn Nets this season, but at least they know that Joe Johnson can still make a buzzer-beater.
Johnson's 3-pointer at the horn gave the Nets a one-point win over the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.
Johnson has seven buzzer-beating, game-winning shots over the past 10 seasons, easily the most in the NBA. Monta Ellis and Andre Iguodala each have four.
Johnson actually has made the Nets past five game-winning buzzer-beaters, dating back to December 2012. The most recent Net to have one before Johnson is Devin Harris, whose 3-pointer beat the Philadelphia 76ers in 2009.
This was the first of Johnson's Nets' buzzer-beaters to come with his team trailing. The other four came with the score tied.
The Nuggets got beat by a hot 3-point shooter. Johnson has made 12-of-21 3-pointers in his past four games.
