Westbrook fills the stat sheet

Russell Westbrook posted his second triple-double of the season as the Oklahoma City Thunder downed the Philadelphia 76ers 102-85.

The Triple-Double King

Westbrook now has 13 triple-doubles since the start of last season, eight more than any other player in that span. Twelve have come since Feb. 2.

Of his 21 career triple-doubles, 12 have come without Kevin Durant in the lineup.

He now has six career triple-doubles in games he played 35 minutes or fewer. Since minutes were first logged in 1951-52, only three players in NBA history have more triple-doubles in 35 minutes or fewer, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Westbrook now has three triple-doubles in his past four games against the 76ers.

76ers Thunderstruck Again

Oklahoma City won all of those games, and has now won 13 consecutive games against Philadelphia, including eight by double digits. The last time the 76ers beat the Thunder was Nov. 15, 2008.

The 76ers are now the first team in NBA history to start 0-9 in two straight seasons.

Jahlil Okafor has started all nine of those games for Philadelphia. According to Elias, he is the fifth player since 1970 to start in his first nine career games and not win a single one. The last player to do so was Andres Nocioni, who lost his first nine starts in 2004.
