The NCAA announced Tuesday that it will help participating players in the College Football Playoff defray travel costs for their parents or guardians to the national championship game via a pilot program. It was a decision that Urban Meyer certainly agreed with and no doubt the right move by the NCAA. Parents should be able to watch their sons play and considering the revenue generated from the playoff, it shouldn't be an issue. They also made the move for the men's and women's Final Four. The reimbursement will be capped at $1,250 per parent. Schools and conferences can decide whether to adopt travel expense provisions permanently or for other championships. Honestly, it's the least they can do.
