6. Joshua Garnett, OG, Stanford
Stanford's first winner of the Outland Trophy, which is given to the best interior lineman in college football, Garnett also was voted the best offensive lineman in the Pac-12 by the conference's defensive linemen. His bone-crushing blocking helped allow running back Christian McCaffrey post one of the most prolific seasons in college football history.
7. Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA
One of the top defensive tackle prospects in this year's NFL draft and a potential first-round pick, Clark ranked second on the Bruins with 75 tackles despite facing regular double teams. He finished the year with 11 tackles for loss, six sacks and helped the UCLA defense, during Pac-12 play, rank No. 1 in the conference in yards per play allowed (5.06).
8. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC
Perhaps the toughest cover in the conference, Smith-Schuster led the Pac-12 and finished fourth nationally with 1,454 receiving yards on 89 receptions. He accounted for 38.5 percent of USC's receiving yards, which was the fourth highest percentage nationally and tops in the conference.
9. Gionni Paul, LB, Utah
Paul ranked second in the Pac-12 with 117 tackles and was the most active player on a defense that propelled the Utes to a 10-win season, by far their best since joining the Pac-12. Paul finished with 13.5 tackles for loss and likely received consideration for the conference's Defensive Player of the Year award.
10. Kevin Hogan, QB, Stanford
Hogan capped his career by leading the Cardinal to its third Pac-12 title in four years and a rout of Iowa in the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual. He led the conference and ranked No. 5 nationally in QBR (85.9) and finished the year with 27 touchdown passes to eight interceptions.
