          ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Chris Young belted a pair of homers and finished 5-for-5 with three extra-base hits, five RBIs and four runs scored in his first rehab game with Triple-A Las Vegas.

          Young logged seven innings in center field before departing the game in Fresno, Calif. He homered against Mike Kickham and Brett Bochy, the son of San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy.

          Young (right quadriceps) is eligible to be activated from the disabled list on Friday, when the Mets return home to face the Atlanta Braves. He is due to join the Mets in Arizona midweek and accompany the team to New York.
