Travis d'Arnaud catches full game with B-Mets

NEW YORK -- For the first time since beginning a rehab assignment on Saturday, Travis d'Arnaud has caught a full game. D'Arnaud went the distance on Tuesday with Double-A Binghamton in a 3-0 win against New Britain.

At the plate, d'Arnaud went 1-for-4 with a run scored. He now has 15 at-bats since joining Binghamton.

New York Mets manager Terry Collins said he expects d'Arnaud to catch another full game with the B-Mets on Wednesday. D'Arnaud then would be in a position to be activated from the disabled list for a weekend showdown with the Washington Nationals at Citi Field.

D'Arnaud sprained his left elbow on June 20 when he reached in to apply a tag on Atlanta's AJ Pierzynski on a play at the plate at Turner Field.
