EAST RIUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Wide receiver Eric Decker (hamstring) and linebacker David Harris, both of whom missed practice time with injuries, are active for the New York Jets Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
Harris is playing with a sprained AC joint, a painful injury that may require a painkilling injection. He was favoring his shoulder in practice, so it'll be interesting to gauge his effectiveness.
In a surprise, wide receiver David Nelson (ankle) is inactive. He played last week, but he evidently aggravated the injury. Look for Decker and Jeremy Kerley to start, with Greg Salas in the No. 3 role. The backups will be Walter Powell and T.J. Graham.
The Jets' other inactives are wide receiver Chris Owusu, safety Josh Bush, linebacker IK Enemkpali, guard Dakota Dozier, tackle Ben Ijalana and nose tackle T.J. Barnes.
Linebacker A.J. Edds, who plays exclusively on special teams, is active for the first time since Week 1. He missed four games with a hamstring injury. Backup nose tackle Kenrick Ellis is active for the first time in three weeks.
No surprises among the Broncos' inactives: Wide receiver Cody Latimer, running back Montee Ball, cornerback Tony Carter, linebacker Lerentee McCray, guard Ben Garland, offensive lineman Michael Schofield and defensive tackle Mitch Unrein.
