Gators add fifth commitment of the day

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- A great recruiting day for Florida got even better on Saturday night when the Gators landed linebacker Dillan Lawson from Crestview (Fla.) Crestview HS.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound athlete posted on Facebook: "Just left the University of Florida in Gainesville. And yes I committed to be a Gator."

Lawson, joins Quinton Powell, James Hearns and Daniel McMillian in Florida's linebacker class.

Florida now has five verbal commitments on junior day and nine overall for its class of 2013.
