The Sacramento Kings recently signed 6-foot-10 forward Duje Dukan following his performance in summer-league play. Dukan was a fifth-year senior last season at Wisconsin, didn't start any games and averaged 4.7 points and 2.6 rebounds playing 15.9 minutes.
Tony Xypteras of the Sactown Royalty website recently published five things that Kings fans probably don't know about Dukan. One of them was an "indirect" connection that Dukan has with Michael Jordan:
- "His father, Ivica Dukan, played professional basketball in Europe for 15 years before joining the Chicago Bulls front office in 1990. This led to Duje’s early ‘career’ as a Chicago Bulls ball boy throughout the '90s. That would make anyone fall in love with basketball."
