The Texas Rangers are looking for starting pitching following an injury to Andrew Cashner, and one option could be a very familiar face.

T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports Rangers officials "are starting to miss" veteran right-hander Colby Lewis, who remains on the free-agent market after starting 194 games for the franchise over nine seasons.
Meanwhile, Jeff Wilson of the Star-Telegram tweets the Rangers "aren't sure where [Lewis] is from a training standpoint, but adds it "sounds like he's entered their thinking."
The 37-year-old Lewis was 6-5 with a 3.71 ERA for the Rangers in a 2016 season that was limited to 19 games because of a strained lat muscle. He started Game 3 of the Division Series against the Blue Jays, lasting just two innings and allowing five runs.
Sullivan adds the Rangers could also be looking at Doug Fister, another prominent free-agent starter left on the market.
The Rangers learned Thursday that Cashner, signed as a free agent over the winter, is unlikely to be ready for Opening Day because of a lingering biceps injury.
