Free-agent pitcher Dana Eveland expects to re-sign with the Tampa Bay Rays, reports MLB.com's Bill Chastain.

The Rays outrighted the 32-year-old lefty reliever last week. He went 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA in 33 games this past season. Eveland did strikingly better with Triple-A Durham, going 1-0 with a 0.30 ERA in 20 games.
Eveland has been with 10 organizations since being drafted in the 16th round in 2002 and was signed by Tampa Bay as a free agent last December.
Eveland said he hopes to be "back in the fold" with the Rays soon, writes Chastain.
