EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings were without cornerback Xavier Rhodes and Sharrif Floyd in practice on Wednesday, as both defensive starters sat out with injuries they sustained in the Vikings' win over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
Rhodes, who left with a groin injury, and Floyd, who sustained a shoulder injury late in the game, both seemed optimistic earlier this week they would play on Sunday, but they'll have to work their way back to health after sitting out on Wednesday. Linebacker Brandon Watts, who missed Sunday's game with a knee injury, also did not practice on Wednesday.
Linebacker Michael Mauti (foot), fullback Zach Line (ankle), tackle Mike Harris (shoulder) and guard Charlie Johnson (ankle) were limited participants on Wednesday. Cornerback Jabari Price was listed on the injury report with a hamstring injury, but was a full participant in practice.
