Organized team activities are in full swing with the Miami Dolphins.
Let’s open the Twitter mailbag to see what’s on the minds of Dolphins fans:
@JamesWalkerNFL how do you think we are gonna fix the oline situation?
- DJZimmerman (@DevlinZimmerman) May 28, 2015
James Walker: This is understandably a concern for Dolphins fans, Devlin. Miami's offensive line hasn't been consistent in three years under coach Joe Philbin, which is surprising because Philbin came up the ranks as an offensive line coach. Miami's offensive line definitely had issues this week in organized team activities, which is a bad sign early. Left tackle Branden Albert is still rehabbing his knee, so that's one potential fix. But the guard positions are major question marks. The Dolphins will just go with the strength-in-numbers approach and let guards Billy Turner, Dallas Thomas, Jeffrey Linkenbach and rookie Jamil Douglas battle it out. The two best players from this group will start.
@JamesWalkerNFL Are the @MiamiDolphins looking at any free agents to fill the guard position(s)?
- David VanGrol (@DavidVanGrol) May 27, 2015
Walker: The bank is closed for now, David. The Dolphins made nearly all of their moves for free agency and plan to find out what they have. Perhaps an injury could change things. But right now I do not expect any significant additions to the roster.
@JamesWalkerNFL do u think jamar Taylor is ready to be a quality starting CB? If so I think our D is going to be very strong!
— Eric D (@EasyD13) May 28, 2015
Walker: The time is now for Jamar Taylor, and I believe he's a young player who is ready to respond. Taylor finally received consistent playing time in parts last year, and it helped. He starts the offseason as the favorite to start opposite Brent Grimes. Taylor's main key is staying healthy. Thanks for the good questions, Dolphins fans.
