Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Wednesday from around the Web:
Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald writes the Dolphins put on the full-court press to recruit rookie free-agent guard La'el Collins.
Morning take: The Dolphins have a need at guard, and center Mike Pouncey and former college teammates Jarvis Landry and Anthony Johnson were among those who met with Collins. Miami isn't the only team interested.
Chris Thomasson of the Pioneer Press writes former Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace accepted blame for his misconnections with quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
Morning take: Wallace, who is now with the Minnesota Vikings, is simply trying to move on. Tannehill was not a good deep-ball passer, and that led to most of the misconnections.
Chris Perkins of the Sun Sentinel writes the Dolphins cut kicker Zach Hocker and cornerbacks Lowell Rose and T.J. Heath.
Morning take: Miami added two corners via the draft, which made Rose and Heath expendable.
Brian Coyle of the Dolphins team site writes Jay Ajayi is a running back who can do it all.
Morning take: Miami potentially got a steal with Ajayi in the fifth round. He’s a strong inside runner, can catch out of the backfield and pass protect. Health is Ajayi’s only concern.
