          Morning take: Can Dolphins get La'el Collins?

          Here are the most interesting Miami Dolphins stories Wednesday from around the Web:

          • Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald writes the Dolphins put on the full-court press to recruit rookie free-agent guard La'el Collins.

          Morning take: The Dolphins have a need at guard, and center Mike Pouncey and former college teammates Jarvis Landry and Anthony Johnson were among those who met with Collins. Miami isn't the only team interested.

          • Chris Thomasson of the Pioneer Press writes former Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace accepted blame for his misconnections with quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

          Morning take: Wallace, who is now with the Minnesota Vikings, is simply trying to move on. Tannehill was not a good deep-ball passer, and that led to most of the misconnections.

          • Chris Perkins of the Sun Sentinel writes the Dolphins cut kicker Zach Hocker and cornerbacks Lowell Rose and T.J. Heath.

          Morning take: Miami added two corners via the draft, which made Rose and Heath expendable.

          Morning take: Miami potentially got a steal with Ajayi in the fifth round. He’s a strong inside runner, can catch out of the backfield and pass protect. Health is Ajayi’s only concern.
