New vice president Mike Tannenbaum is about to embark on his first NFL draft with the Miami Dolphins.
But before looking ahead, ESPN.com's Dolphins page is taking a look back at Tannenbaum’s past to get a sense of his history. Next up, we take a look at his 2007 draft.
Round 1 (No. 14): CB Darrelle Revis
Round 2 (No. 47): LB David Harris
Round 6 (No. 177): OT Jacob Bender
Round 7 (No. 235): WR Chansi Stuckey
Analysis: This was the interesting Darrelle Revis draft. Tannenbaum and the Jets were so convinced Revis was a future star that they traded up 11 spots in the first round to land the cornerback. Reportedly, the Pittsburgh Steelers were targeting Revis at No. 15, and New York wisely jumped in front to grab the future Hall of Famer. Revis has played in six Pro Bowls and has been the NFL's top cornerback of the past decade. Harris also was a strong pick in the second round. Tannenbaum didn't get anything out of his late-round picks, but Revis and Harris keep this grade solid.
Walker's grade: B
