EARTH CITY, Mo. -- There's never a bad time for a team to be so healthy that it has all 53 of its players on the active roster available for practice. But there might not be a better time for it than when that team is scheduled to play on Thursday night.
The St. Louis Rams haven't had much fortune on the injury front in quite some time but they look to be in a good spot going into Thursday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
With defensive end Chris Long (ankle) returning to practice Wednesday, the Rams had their full complement of players available. And it looks like all eight of the players listed on the injury report will be ready to go against Arizona.
Long is officially listed as questionable but coach Jeff Fisher expressed optimism that he'd be ready to play against the Cardinals.
In other words, the Rams will have to actually make decisions again this week when it comes to their pregame inactives.
Here's the full breakdown of Wednesday's injury report:
Questionable: DE Chris Long (ankle).
Probable: TE Cory Harkey (knee), C Scott Wells (elbow), G Rodger Saffold (shoulder), WR Kenny Britt (not injury related), LB James Laurinaitis (ankle), LB Will Herring (foot), DT Alex Carrington (thigh).
