Rams' Tuesday night injury report

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams returned to practice for real Tuesday night as they continue preparations for their Thursday night game against the Arizona Cardinals.

And, for a team entering its 14th game of the season, the Rams continue to look like a team in relatively good health. The Rams listed eight players on their injury report Tuesday but only one of those players -- defensive end Chris Long -- did not participate in Tuesday's workout.

Long, of course, is only two weeks removed from returning from ankle surgery and the Rams are doing what they can to manage the injury. In Sunday's win against Washington, Long got some extra rest in the second half when the Rams had a big lead.

As for the rest of the group, it appears the Rams are going to have their pick of the 53 players on the roster to be active against Arizona.

Here's the full breakdown of Tuesday's injury report:

Did not participate: DE Chris Long (ankle)

Full participation: TE Cory Harkey (knee), C Scott Wells (elbow), G Rodger Saffold (shoulder), WR Kenny Britt (not injury related), LB James Laurinaitis (ankle), LB Will Herring (foot), DT Alex Carrington (thigh).
