All Chiefs draft picks under contract

The Kansas City Chiefs took care of unfinished business on the eve of their three-day rookie camp, coming to contract terms with their three remaining unsigned draft picks.

First-round cornerback Marcus Peters of Washington and both third-round picks, wide receiver Chris Conley of Georgia and defensive back Steven Nelson of Oregon State, are now under contract. They joined the six other draft picks who signed earlier in the week.

The Chiefs also signed an undrafted rookie, defensive tackle Charles Tuaau of Texas A&M-Commerce, and released two other roster hopefuls, tight end Brandon Barden and defensive lineman Hebron Fangupo.

The draft picks and undrafted rookies as well as some tryout players hoping for a contract will participate in the rookie camp.

Full squad practice begins May 26.
