Some quick thoughts following Purdue's 75-61 win over No. 13 Michigan on Senior Night in Ann Arbor, Mich.
How the game was won: Purdue did about everything right against Michigan. It started out shooting extremely well and when the outside shots were falling, the Boilermakers also went inside, using Terone Johnson to get to blow by Michigan defenders most of the game.

Turning point: Michigan briefly led in the second half, but by never more than two points. However, any chance for the Wolverines ended with back-to-back 3-pointers by Robbie Hummel to give Purdue a 61-51 lead with 3:36 left.
Player of the game: Purdue guard Terone Johnson. The sophomore from Indianapolis attacked Michigan all game long, driving right at Zack Novak and Jordan Morgan, using both the baseline and down the side of the paint. He finished with a game-high 22 points on 9 of 12 shooting, but more importantly for the Boilermakers -- Michigan had no one who could stop him.
What it means: The loss likely knocks the Wolverines out of the Big Ten championship race. They now trail Michigan State by a game and a half with two left and are in third place in the league. The Boilermakers picked up a big win as they ensure being at least .500 in the Big Ten for the season and picked up a huge RPI win on the road for potential NCAA tournament inclusion.
Record performance: Michigan's 16-game home court winning streak, dating to last season, was snapped in the regular season finale here. It also meant the Wolverines would not have their first undefeated regular season at home since 1976-77. Instead, Michigan finishes 15-1 at home.
