LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- From highly touted recruit to recruiter and back again, Ryan Green (St. Petersburg, Fla./St. Petersburg Catholic) is doing just about everything at Champion Gridiron Kings.

In between reps on Saturday morning, Green, a Seminoles commitment, spent time talking to other potential targets for Florida State -- none of them more important than the nation's top outside linebacker prospect, Matthew Thomas (Miami, Fla./Booker T. Washington).

"I think he is pretty close to pulling the trigger," Green said of the four-star linebacker target. "I talked to him and I think he said that he loves it and he is pretty close to pulling it. I want to get him on board.

"I am trying to get them all on board with 'Nole Nation.' "

Green is also taking some time to enjoy himself, too. Going against the nation's best is a challenge relished.

And the smack talk in between, along with the trips to Walt Disney World parks, makes the event one full of laughter.

"It is definitely exciting to be out here with some of the best of the best," the future FSU tailback said. "We've all had a good time going to the theme parks and stuff like that."
