Ravens add depth at tight end with Konrad Reuland and Richard Gordon

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- With no healthy tight ends, the Baltimore Ravens promoted Konrad Reuland from the practice squad and signed Richard Gordon to the 53-man roster.

The Ravens' depth at tight end is extremely thin because Crockett Gillmore suffered a back injury Sunday, Nick Boyle received a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance enhancing drug policy and Maxx Williams missed Sunday's game with a concussion. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Gillmore and Williams both have a chance of playing Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Reuland, 28, has been on the Ravens' practice squad for parts of the past two seasons. He played 26 games for the New York Jets in 2012 and 2013, including three starts, and has 12 career catches for 90 yards and no touchdowns.

Gordon, 28, is playing for his seventh team in five seasons after being cut by the Denver Broncos on Dec. 1. He has four career receptions for 14 yards and one touchdown.

The Ravens already had one roster spot open due to Boyle's suspension. The team waived cornerback Cassius Vaughn to free up another spot.
