Ravens return three injured starters, including Kelechi Osemele

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens' injury concerns have gone from the offensive line to the defensive line.

Three injured starters returned to practice Monday, including two on the offensive line. Left tackle Eugene Monroe and left guard Kelechi Osemele are back after missing Saturday's preseason game. Osemele was the biggest surprise because he was considered questionable for the season opener with an Achilles injury. He hasn't practiced for most of the month and has missed the last two preseason games. Monroe, who was present in the early portion of practice, has a significant bruise on his right forearm and had it heavily wrapped with a pad underneath.

The other starter coming back was cornerback Lardarius Webb, who has missed all three preseason games with a hamstring injury. His return is timely because Rashaan Melvin was not practicing Monday.

Wide receiver Michael Campanaro was also back after being sidelined the last two preseason games with a soft-tissue injury. Campanaro and Webb were returning kicks along with Asa Jackson and Tom Nelson.

The most banged-up position on the Ravens is the defensive line. Four of the 10 linemen are injured: Timmy Jernigan (right knee), Lawrence Guy (knee), DeAngelo Tyson (shoulder) and Brent Urban (biceps). Given that starters Chris Canty and Brandon Williams won't play in the preseason finale, it will be a busy Thursday night for Carl Davis, Christo Bilukidi, Kapron Lewis-Moore and Micajah Reynolds.

Others not practicing for the Ravens were: wide receiver Breshad Perriman (knee); running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (knee); cornerbacks Melvin (undisclosed) and Chris Greenwood (hamstring); offensive linemen Ryan Jensen (concussion), De'Ondre Wesley (knee) and Darryl Baldwin (undisclosed); and linebacker Steven Means (groin).
