U.S. Open odds: Wyndham Clark favored to win second U.S. Open heading into Sunday

Wyndham Clark holds an enormous six-shot lead heading into Sunday at the 2026 U.S. Open and has fitting -230 favorite odds to win the tournament as a result. Clark won the 2023 U.S. Open as a pre-tournament 100-1 long shot but came into this week's competition at Shinnecock Hills at a much more manageable 45-1.

The only golfer bookmakers seem to think could conceivably catch Clark is Scottie Scheffler, who has recovered nicely after a bad first round and is part of the group of four players tied for second at 1 under. Scheffler is +570 to win this year's U.S. Open, which is, remarkably, not too much longer than the +450 he had coming into the competition.

Xander Schauffele (+2350), Sahith Theegala (28-1) and Tom Kim (29-1) are the only other golfers within the 30-1 benchmark to win the tournament at this point.
