Adelaide insist there's no concern over Taylor Walker despite the fact the veteran failed to complete a training session ahead of the AFL finals.
Walker, who has announced his retirement at season's end, was troubled by a glute complaint at Thursday's training.
The 36-year-old was taken off the track but the Crows say he's in no doubt for next weekend's home elimination final.
"That's just managing players on a week where we can afford to manage so, yeah, he's fine," Adelaide assistant coach Nathan van Berlo told reporters on Friday.
"Clearly there's no need to take any risk in this week.
"It's also important to get some work into the group, understanding we're 24 weeks into a really long and taxing year."
The Crows, after a weekend off, will be without crafty small forward Zac Taylor for their home final.
Taylor is expected to miss up to three weeks as a hamstring strain derails the 23-year-old's best season to date.
"It's always heartbreaking when these sort of instances come up," van Berlo said.
"We're hopeful ... he's fit and available again this year to come back into the team for us.
"But there's lots of other instances around the competition where opportunities come up through injury or form, we're going to be no different - it's a matter of next man in comes in and plays the role."
That next man in looms as Brisbane's dual premiership player Callum Ah Chee, who rested from the last home-and-away game.
"He's in good nick and in good shape, got through all the training yesterday - anticipate he'll do the same next week," van Berlo said.
Forgotten defender Mitch Hinge is also pressing late-season select claims after playing only one AFL game, in April.
Hinge has suffered a string of injuries but has been mounting his case in the last three games in the state league.
"Hingey has been building his game nicely over the last few weeks," van Berlo said.
"I believe he's three quarters to a full game his last couple of weeks, which is heading in the right direction to AFL selection.
"Played well on the weekend against Sturt, so he'd definitely be one that would be in the mix of conversation."
