6 in double figures as No. 14 UCLA women top Arizona 80-53
LOS ANGELES -- Nirra Fields led six players in double figures with 13 points and No. 14 UCLA rolled to an 80-53 win over Arizona on Friday night.
Paulina Hersler had 12 points and seven rebounds and Jordin Canada had 12 points and five assists for the Bruins (21-7, 13-4 Pac-12).
UCLA has won 10 of 12, with the losses to Top 10 teams Oregon State and Arizona State. The Bruins, tied for third with Stanford, concluded the regular season Sunday at league-leading ASU.
Jalea Bennett had 15 points for Arizona (11-17, 2-14), which has lost 11 straight.
UCLA scored the last 10 points of the first quarter to take a 19-12 lead and had the first five points of the second quarter, when they outscored the Wildcats 22-19 for a 41-21 lead.
The Bruins went 31 of 62 from the field, 6 of 11 from 3-point range. Arizona shot 38 percent, 2 of 12 behind the arc.
